The sterilizers feature automatic commands controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) that performs the following steps: heating, initial vacuum, humidification, gas injection, sterilization time, gas discharge through 14 alternate cycles of vacuum and intakes of air, neutralization of gas by water bubbling, automatic transformation of the sterilization chamber into a ventilation chamber, ventilation time and end of cycle alarm with automatic stop of the process. 

These machines have a display where the user can choose the suitable cycle according to the kind of material to be sterilized. 

They also have a data printer which permits to keep the record of the cycles that have been done.
